The Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America (FOCA) is a national organization under the jurisdiction of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) dedicated to building fellowship among Orthodox Christians within and among Orthodox parishes through service and mission work, and has contributed to the Church’s charitable, missionary, and educational efforts..

FOCA consists of two organizational levels: the Senior level embraces members 18 years of age and older, while the Junior level serves youth ages 10 through 18.  Metropolitan Jonah is the FOCA Spiritual Leader.

St. Justin Martyr Local FOCA Chapter Activities

Over the last 4 years the local FOCA chapter here at St. Justin Martyr has held such events as golf outings, yearly fellowship dinner dances, youth and adult bowling events, and bi-yearly garage sales. We have also participated in community events such as the yearly Tour De Cure diabetes bike race. Additionaly, we have donated to St. Herman’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in Kodiak, Alaska; St. Nicholas Orthodox Church renovation effort in Juneau, Alaska; and the St. Andrews fund through the national FOCA organization. The “St. Andrews Fund” provides grants to OCA seminaries and assistance to missions

Invitation to Join FOCA

I extend an open invitation to join our local chapter and participate in   activities as those mentioned above. I feel that you will enjoy the experience while at the same time feel a deep sense of contribution to the faith that you have embraced.
