Wednesday Nights Are For the SJM Community!

On Wednesday October 24th, SJM will begin our new Wednesday evening ministry of:

Community Night!

Community Night is our new ministry where parishioners of all ages, their friends, and guests come together to pray, fellowship, and grow closer in Christ here at St. Justin Martyr Orthodox Church. Our program takes place the second and fourth Wednesday of the month until Lenten Presanctified Liturgies. The evening will start with Vespers beginning at 6p followed by a Lenten meal and program set to run from 6:30p-7:30p. The meal provided will be a nominal cost.

There is something planned for everyone. Our Youth in MS and HS will meet in the Youth Building for a lesson and activities. Those who are K-5th and younger will be a coop, parents taking turns entertaining the children. Our adults will meet in the Fellowship Hall and/or Chapel depending on that weeks schedule.

On October 24th, we will be kicking off with two wonderful programs. We will be offering Financial Peace in the Chapel, facilitated by Julie Gullick, who has experience teaching versions of this program on community college levels. We are also pleased to offer a presentation on Estate Planning, How to Leave More to Your Children Than You Leave to the IRS, with expert Rose Marie Preddy, Esq.
